The 900 series Baumalight mulchers will efficiently mulch heavy brush and trees and are designed for contractors, rental and any other heavy duty mulching and land clearing. The MP972 masticating head Brush Mulcher is designed to fit tractors with 90 - 135 HP and Cat 2 or 3 3PH. The 900 Series teeth are available in either Ripper or Planer style. The carbide Ripper tooth is the good general use tooth. Their v-shaped design shreds through brush and makes them less vulnerable in areas plagued by rocks and debris. The 900 Series Planer style tooth provides the most efficient cutting by smoothly chipping away at the brush. Its flat profile however makes it vulnerable to shattering on impact with rocks and other debris. Tractor mounted brush mulchers are not limited to reverse only, drive forward over your mulch and turn it into a finer mulch. A usefull feature on the Baumalight MP972 Brush Mulcher is the opening cutting shield. This allows you to adjust for a better, higher angle of attack on bigger brush or keep it closed and control the mulch for even finer results. With direct drive from the engine, all the way through the heavy duty gear box, to the teeth, the MP972 PTO Brush Mulcher is a very efficient way to clear heavy brush and small trees.

• The rear of the unit is guarded by a 3/8" thick chain curtain so standing brush enters and mulched debris exits.

• Reduce your regular maintenance time by easily greasing the bearings on the MP972 from outside the frame. No tools required.

• To protect the gearbox and drive system, Baumalight PTO mulchers come with a slip clutch. Automatically disengaging the clutch at a predetermined torque.

• Heavy duty gearbox for high performance and better mulching power and long life.

• A heavy duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. This offers protection from the shocks inherent in mulching.
